A closer look at Medusa
Fluid in silhouette, expressive in character, Medusa captures the movement of a jellyfish in glass.
Originally designed by Carlo Nason in 1970, the design reflects the experimental spirit of Italian Modernism, where material and form become one. Its multi-layered, mouth-blown opaline glass creates a sense of depth and softness, allowing light to become part of the sculptural expression.
Rooted in the tradition of Murano glassmaking, Medusa brings Nason’s distinctive language into a contemporary context — balancing craftsmanship, material and light in a quietly striking form. Available in suspension, table and wall versions.
